The Moore Elementary PTO exists to serve Moore Elementary by connecting families with opportunities to volunteer, support teachers and staff, and help the school host events that benefit students and the broader school community.

Everything we do is powered by volunteers. FSD school PTOs are not separate entities or fundraising organizations; they assist their schools by providing volunteers and family support for school-hosted activities. All parents and guardians of Moore Elementary students are automatically members of the PTO. Every family is welcome.

Please note: donations and sponsorship gifts connected to Moore events are gifts to Moore Elementary School, not to the PTO. The PTO does not maintain a separate bank account or operate as a separate fundraising organization.

There is no required commitment. We would love to see you involved in whatever way fits your schedule.

Our volunteer support reaches students, teachers, and families in many ways throughout the school year. These are a few of the school programs, events, and efforts the PTO helps support.

Moore Miles

A school-hosted event that brings together school spirit, movement, and community while supporting Moore Elementary priorities.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation

Celebrating the teachers and staff who care for Moore students through appreciation events and meaningful support throughout the year.

Book Fair

Promoting reading while providing volunteer support for a school event connected to the library and student learning.

Hospitality

Helping create welcoming experiences for staff and families through welcome-back gatherings, appreciation weeks, and community celebrations.

Room Parents

Giving parents opportunities to stay active in their child’s classroom and support teachers, students, and classroom celebrations.

Spirit Nights

Helping families gather around school-hosted community opportunities and local partnerships that support Moore Elementary.

Volunteer service, school-hosted events, and community gifts to Moore Elementary help strengthen school life in practical and meaningful ways. PTO representatives also participate on the School Advisory Team to help discuss priorities for funds raised through school events.
